Reblog for the people that don’t pay attention to the news

shit I live in Syracuse too.

I’ve lived in Florida for about half my life and done that dumb little dance with the hurricanes before but I’m actually worried about up here because for just about every major storm this part of the state has been hit with shit got fucked up pretty badly.

They just don’t have the infrastructural support and experience to manage them.

((I live in New York….*hides with my kittens*))

I live right below Washington DC…

OAO BABU COME HIDE WITH ME. *SNATCHES*

Jersey is so screwed….

EXPLAINING MY MOST PROBABLY ABSENCE FROM THE INTERNET FROM MONDAY ONWARDS TO FOREVER UNTIL POWER/WATER IS BACK ON FOR KAEDEE AND OTHERS WHO CARE

the mid-atlantic is absolutely fucked

You see that peninsula there across from Washington?

Yeah. That’s where I am.

Here’s how I know we’re in trouble: The Weather Channel mentioned Delmarva by name. They never mention Delmarva. Ever. We are just “Maryland.”

Oh shit, you’re on the Delmarva? please stay safe. I’m lucky, I live above DC, but I’ve got a lot of people on the Delmarva and on the islands in the bay :/ this is worrying

I live above DC, too.  I’m trying to stay cool but good lord, this is scary.

Stay safe, kiddos. Frankenstorm doesn’t play around…
