Okay so tomorrow is 9/11’s tenth anniversary and it’s an election year, expect copious amounts of pandering and an Obama ad on foreign policy & Mitt Romney frothing at the mouth. Please be nice to all the Arab people you see tomorrow because for the rest of the month they unjustly will be looked at with unfair scrutiny. Be kind to everyone else that deserves it, because well what the fuck are you an asshole? Seriously though if you can avoid the news do so and spend some time reflecting on all lives lost both here, and in Iraq, Afghanistan,Yemen, and anywhere else a drone is being dropped right now, especially the civilians that asked for NONE of this.
Protest if you feel the need, because shit is ridiculous out here.
Lastly reflect on our military some whom didn’t have any other option but to fight for a country that didn’t care about them slipping through the cracks of society, that are now in the street. Not the cold blooded murderers though, they can rot. Reflect on the ridiculous amount of money America spends on a military that doesn’t need anything else for the next 50 years, reflect on the greed of the military industrial complex, money that could be used for anything else (housing, health care, infrastructure, energy etc.) but is instead used for 120+ bases in countries that don’t even like us like that. Get angry, but reflect. Protest if you feel. Anyway be kind, reflect, avoid the news and the ridiculous amount of America Fuck Yeah that will be on display tomorrow.
